The 12th Tsinghua Workshop in Macroeconomics is Postponed
Since January 2020, the rapid spread of COVID19 has raised serious health concerns for international travels. Our conference organizing committee have been closely watching the COVID 19 situation and have had intense internal discussions. At the beginning, we were hoping the situation in China would be quickly under control and we would manage to hold the conference in June as scheduled. Unfortunately, soon the COVID 19 spread even further outside of China, and the health and safety risks associated with international travels have become even higher. Therefore, the organizers have just made the hard decision to postpone the 12th TWM from June 2020 to June 2021.
Paper submissions will be reopened later this year. We plan to keep the two keynote speakers (Dirk Krueger and Atif Mian) for TWM 2021, while their attendance will be further confirmed after we decide on the specific dates for TWM 2021. We typically make this decision soon after the SED announces their dates.
We apologize sincerely for any inconvenience this unfortunate situation may have brought you. And we hope we will see you at TWM 2021.
If you have any questions, please contact the organizers by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Best regards and stay healthy,
The organizing committee:
